ZoS Application - Jasmine Laguna

Postby Jasmine Laguna » Wed Sep 11, 2013 7:08 pm

Acct name: Jas.4837

In-game name and level: Jasmine Laguna, lvl 80 Ranger

Age: 29

Timezone and times usually on: CST, off and on throughout the day and most every evening from 8:30 for a few hours. Off and on throughout weekends, depending on if we have plans.

Style (PvP, PvE, WvW Etc.): Mostly PvE, but I love joining in WvW.

PvP Experience (rank, accomplishments, etc.): I'm just a little pvp rabbit. I PvP very occasionally. I enjoy it, but I can't do it for too long at a time. I love PvP-ing with friends, though.

Professions played in PvP: Mostly shortbow/longbow Ranger and staff Ele so far and a little bit of Guardian.

PvE Experience (accomplishments, dungeons, etc.): I'm at 6700 achievement points currently. I haven't done nearly as much dungeoneering as I would like, due to the fact that until recently finding the GW2LFG website, I'd had very little luck ever getting groups together. Same goes for Fractals. I love running dungeons, though, and I plan to start running them every chance I get when we get the ingame LFG tool next week. Jumping Puzzles are my favorite thing ever. I've done them all and I love the challenge of it.

Professions played in PvE: All of them. Ranger, Ele, Guardian, Thief, and Warrior are lvl 80, while my Mesmer, Necro, Engi, and second Ele are all roughly level 20-ish currently.

Crafts and their levels: All of them at 400, with Weaponsmith up over 460 currently.

Previous Guilds: Brotherhood of the Shadows [bots]

Reason for leaving previous guild: I love [bots] and have been with them since GW1 for many years, but unfortunately, it isn't a highly organized or busy guild.

Why you want to join [ZoS]?: I've been wanting to get into a guild that is much more organized, with members doing a lot more stuff together and more frequently. After talking to Stig and finding your website here, you look like exactly what I'd been hoping to find. And from the various grouping encounters I've had with a few of your members since release, I wasn't surprised at all.

How long have you been playing the game (hours)?: Over 1200 hours currently. Over 500 of that on my Ranger.

Do you have TeamSpeak 3 and a working microphone?: Yep.

Have you read and do you agree with our rules?: Indeed! I'm very happy with those rules. Respect is so very important.

A little about yourself: Hmm, where to start... Well, I'm a stay-at-home mom, hence the "off and on throughout the day" gaming time, and not being able to get a lot of dungeons done, since, until kiddos bedtime, I may have to be afk at any time and for unknown durations. Besides that, I am an avid gamer, with most of my gaming history being WoW with over a year of ingame time starting in 2005. I loved dungeons and raids and I've always been an altoholic and completionist. In GW1, I had a blast playing through all the campaigns and then farming HoM points and such, and running lots and lots of DoA, and leveling alts. Now here in GW2, I spend most of my time doing a little bit of everything. But I'm tired of not having things to do as a guild aside from the weekly Guild Missions. I love to help and do things together with players that I can get to know. When I'm doing that, I don't even care what the actual task is.
