Acct name:
Bhryaen
In-game name and level:
This is hard to answer because I have 25 characters that I play on a sporadic and inconsistent basis. I had to pick one for my register name, so I chose the one that's consistently been higher lvl and used for guild activity- Zetchlen Flaemeleaf. But with this many characters, I haven't been playing him regularly either. I'm not sure if this is important for contacting me in-game prior to guild membership. My character names include also (listed to match the later question about classes played):
1. Zetchlen Flaemeleaf, lvl 80 sylvari ele
2. Optimus Schmoptimus, lvl 39 asura ele
3. Churn Blastearth, lvl 46 charr ele
4. Oakenthorne, lvl 80 sylvari thief (though I'm thinking of changing his name so he matches the first-last names of the rest of my chars (he was my first character))
5. Syd Rootless, lvl 49 sylvari thief
6. Impi Duplicatous, lvl 60 asura mesmer
7. Broffgur Darkwolf, lvl 47 norn mesmer
8. Alyteful Rue, lvl 48 sylvari mesmer
9. Polendro Pehnosylin, lvl 63 sylvari ranger
10. Rovaen Thruwood, lvl 49 sylvari ranger
11. Beast Foethrasher, lvl 50 charr ranger
12. Oompanii Pow, lvl 80 asura engi
13. Payle Cotyledon, lvl 42 sylvari engi
14. Scortch Swathcutter, lvl 41 charr engi
15. Deadwood Scythe, lvl 53 sylvari necro
16. Arkkaz Deathwheel, lvl 51 charr necro
17. Murph Mountaintop, lvl 43 norn guard
18. Wyld Wyvern, lvl 54 sylvari guard
19. Boz Thunderridge, lvl 41 norn guard
20. Rykal Lumenforther, lvl 43 charr guard
21. Gnarly Pinesharper, lvl 66 sylvari warrior
22. Krewe Member Mottly, lvl 80 asura warrior (OK another exception to the first-last name rule)
23. Dawnbark Brambles, lvl 49 sylvari warrior
24. Burns Red Rockarm, lvl 47 norn warrior
Age:
44
Timezone and times usually on:
EST. Currently I'm on, like, all the time- anywhere btw maybe 7A and 4A EST, depending.
Style (PvP, PvE, WvW Etc.):
Nearly all my experience is PvE- area completion, events, mat hunting, and exploration- but I've been wanting to venture further for a long time.
PvP Experience (rank, accomplishments, etc.):
Ventured here mostly just for a day- so at rabbit rank, 449/500, in pvp, Rank 5 in WvW, 1785/5000. I was told by experienced players that I was very good for a beginner.
Professions played in PvP:
My sylvari ele- dagger-dagger- is the only one I've played in PvP/WvW.
PvE Experience (accomplishments, dungeons, etc.):
My most-traveled character has 53% world map completion. After numerous months this may seem underwhelming, but, well, I have 24 characters (thus far), so I've been doing a lot of "trying out" of the races (all but human) and many class/weapon combos. Mostly I've been working my way up in area difficulty, so I'm presently getting to know the Gendarran Fields, Harathi Hinterlands, Lornar's Pass level. I've been working solo despite being in a guild, and I've learned how to defeat various champs solo with a variety of classes and weapons, but I've done little dungeoneering. I did AC early on with a random group and recently again with a new guild, but I'm looking for the right guild to have the groups to get through the high lvl areas and dungeons with.
Professions played in PvE:
All. I have a different character for a large portion of the available class/weapon combos:
1. dagger-dagger ele
2. scepter-focus ele
3. staff ele
4. pistol-pistol/sword-pistol thief
5. dagger-dagger/shortbow thief
6. scepter-torch/staff mesmer
7. greatsword/sword-pistol mesmer
8. sword-sword/sword-focus mesmer
9. sword-dagger/longbow ranger
10. axe-torch/shortbow ranger
11. axe-axe/greatsword ranger
12. rifle/turrets engi
13. pistol-pistol/turrets engi
14. pistol-shield/flamethrower-elixirgun-bombs (experimenting is fun) ele
15. dagger-warhorn/axe-focus necro
16. staff/scepter-dagger necro
17. mace-shield/staff guard
18. greatsword/scepter-focus guard
19. hammer/scepter-focus guard
20. sword-torch/staff guard
21. sword-sword/longbow warrior
22. axe-axe/rifle warrior
23. axe-mace/greatsword warrior
24. hammer/rifle warrior
Those combos do change at times given both experience (it's not working so well) or learning about builds on youtube. As I play them I get a better sense of how to work the weapon combos of every character in a given class for diversity. I actually like playing nearly all of the options, hard to state a favorite...
Crafts and their levels:
Divided between 2 characters- one for cooking (Alyteful Rue), one for all else (Oompanii Pow), all between 180-265. The big holdup has been mats and gold, chronically lacking both, but I'm definitely working on it. I probably should've started with online guides, but I liked the challenge of figuring it out.

Previous Guilds:
I was quickly invited to NoWo (The Northern Wolves) and stayed with them- 100% rep- from near my first few weeks in GW2 to about a couple weeks ago, fairly quickly attaining Veteran status (access to most guild bank stuff and the honor). I got the achievement for "earn your guild 10K influence" with them and donated every guild influence booster I found to them. I've been guild-hopping lately trying to find a new guild I can settle with, including CM (Crimson Mercenaries), BLST (Blue Steel Guards), and a few others.
Reason for leaving previous guild:
NoWo is a heavily PvP/WvW guild. Anything else is regularly trashed. I not only love PvE- both the grind and the artwork that went into it- but also I don't want to get into WvW with people who take it too seriously. As a for instance, one time a veteran member mentioned in guild chat how hard it was to get a particular vista in WvW, and the guild founder responded curtly, "The trick is to not care and just pvp." That's just one example. I need a more versatile group I can relate to.
What is your home server?:
NSP
Why you want to join [ZoS]?:
This looks like a fantastic guild, likely worth the application time. Since I left NoWo I've been looking for a guild that I can rep all the time without wondering if I should just rep my own and play solo, and this is the only guild other than NoWo that I see really wanting and attentive to full rep (making guild membership mean something). It's larger and clearly experienced, way more active, plenty of involved members, and well-organized. The emphasis on maturity is a good sign, and it seems like it's the kind of guild that holds the best opportunities for gameplay. Ironically I just discovered that on NoWo's guild webpage (recently made) someone linked to the uberawesome ZoS anniversary megagolem youtube vid. I'd thought that was a NoWo event since otherwise there were no vids of NoWo events. Man, that must've been something to participate in. Not so sure about the name "zealot" (or how the term is being used), but I'm certainly a de facto GW2 enthusiast: it's been my only game as soon as I started and my only real "hobby." Might make me a zealot. hehe
How long have you been playing the game (hours)?:
1753hrs over 266 days.
Do you have TeamSpeak 3 and a working microphone?:
Already ready.
Have you read and do you agree with our rules?:
Yes, would be great to work with a more mature group that both recognizes and engages in quality experience.
A little about yourself:
I'm an industrial electrician but presently (and recently) I've been taking an extended between-jobs time-off... which of course I spend mostly in GW2. I'm relatively new to MMOs, but I played Planetside2 for a few months before it got dull and I played NWN online with hardcore servers for years, once being granted DM status to run my own quests and meddle with the players (which players loved).
