Acct name: Kurr.4179
In-game name and level: Kurr Bloodfang (80 warrior). I have a level 80 of each profession.
Age: 26
Timezone and times usually on: EDT. I usually play from around 9h30PM eastern to 12h30PM eastern on days that I work (also early in the morning sometimes). On days that I don't work, I often play all day, 12 hours+.
Style (PvP, PvE, WvW Etc.): I mostly play PvE. I will play WvW for the meta-achievements and such.
PvP Experience (rank, accomplishments, etc.): I rarely play PvP and only have done so for dailies for few weeks when I wanted to farm achievement points. I am rank 12 or 13 I believe. In WvW I'm not high ranked either, around r40 or so on my main (thief). I also play engineer once in a while in WvW.
Professions played in PvP: Thief, Mesmer, Engineer (WvW)
PvE Experience (accomplishments, dungeons, etc.): 13,657 achievement points. Level 80 of each profession. Hobby dungeon explorer done ~190 times (and probably another 30 times before I got dungeon master since I took a long time to do Arah p4). I know and am comfortable with every dungeon path, although the rarely run ones I don't know very well (CM p2, TA Aether, SE p2, etc). I am fractal level 31 and plan to slowly bring it up (once fractal rewards are hopefully upgraded to get fractal skin boxes like we were supposed to get in Fractured) and am currently working on my first full ascended armor set (which I will have in a few weeks; I mostly spend my gold on skins so I never bothered to get ascended before but am getting it to be able to run fractal 50 and higher in the future). I do run fractal semi-regularly. I run usually at least a few dungeons a day and am interested in running dungeon trains with the guild if interest is there (and maybe even forming a TA Aetherpath farm group with some veteran players to get some weapon skins). I consider myself a fairly good player but not an elite one (I can melee Lupi for example, and I run zerker meta, but I've never really been part of the solo-lupi scene or part of a speedrun group). I'd said I'm a good player with my warrior and a decent player with my thief-mesmer. With the other professions I don't feel I am very efficient so I don't usually bring them into dungeons.
All 8 of my characters have the 8 story dungeons + their story done. I have 4x100% map completion. The others are at varying degrees up completion (ranging from 35-75% or so). Overall I've done essentially everything in the game multiple times.
Professions played in PvE: Mostly Warrior/Thief/Mesmer, although once in a while I play all of them.
Crafts and their levels: Leatherworker, Armorsmith and Weaponsmith at r500. Rest at 400 on multiple characters.
Previous Guilds: DHE, Renegatus
Reason for leaving previous guild:
DHE : Although it has a lot of good players, I didn't get along with the guild leader's attitude of flauting in map chat and saying things like "One time offer, join DHE if you can do 8 orbs Liadri!" which I felt was a bit embarrassing. A lot of guild chat consists of different members flauting their fortune or gear constantly (not just when they are happy they just acquired something new). It was still a fun guild overall but I just moved on.
Renegatus : It's an elitist dungeon/fractal guild which I enjoyed, but I was uncomfortable with guild chat often. A lot of drama between players. Conversations often having nothing to do with Guild Wars 2 but related to drugs, politics, etc which I don't really feel has a place in a videogame (which I play to have fun, not think about issues!).
Why you want to join [ZoS]?: It sounds like a fun community with a mix of good veteran players and I enjoy what some of your members do for the community (I just switched to NSP from Darkhaven and I enjoyed running temples with Balthazar Almighty yesterday). Everyone seems to have good things to say about this guild and it was mentioned as a great guild on reddit as well. I'm not expecting an elitist guild or a speedrunning guild and am expecting a breath of fresh air, just playing the game for fun (and of course I'm more than willing to run dungeons seriously if you have a group of veteran players that want to do so; or run a few dungeons with less experienced players).
How long have you been playing the game (hours)?: 2400 hours. The shame!
Do you have TeamSpeak 3 and a working microphone?: Yes, although I prefer keeping quiet in TS in general. I am quite talkative in guild chat though!
Have you read and do you agree with our rules?: Yes
A little about yourself:
I'm a fan of this game (and Guild Wars 1, in which I played around 3500 hours over 8 years and have GWAMM in). I play Guild Wars 2 admittedly a lot too much although I suppose it's not the worst addiction to have. My main goals are : finishing my last 4x100% map completion; getting 2 full armor + full weapon sets per character with skins that I like (which if you saw my excel sheet and how often I change my mind on which piece I am getting, you would know this is a permanent goal --- yes I have a 10 page excel sheet for Guild Wars 2); getting my 3 mains (thief, warrior, mesmer) fully geared in ascended; becoming a great player in all aspects of the game with those 3 characters (Dungeons, Fractals, Teq, Wurm, other world events, WvW, PvP); getting all the account upgrades (all characters with unlimited tools, kits, commander tag, etc...). Basically, I plan to play for several years to come and have ingame goals to match. I don't flip the TP to get gold, so while I have finished pretty much all of the existing horizontal progression, I have a ton of gold-related progression left . I plan to play until this game is well and truly dead (as even when I've accomplished all of my goals, WvW and PvP have unending achievements and goals), unless ArenaNET were to do something I REALLY hate --- they do things I don't like frequently but what can I say I'm a sucker for this game so it would take a pretty drastic change for them to tear me away.
Outside of the game, I'm a pretty regular guy. I have done 8 years of university and am currently looking for work in my field while working an unrelated job in the meanwhile.
