Posted: Sat Jul 30, 2016 6:34 am
Account name: Nerevar.2735
In-game name and level: Nereldor, lvl 80
Timezone and usual play-times: Sun-Wed Evenings. Thursday and Friday any time. I work 40+hrs/wk
Your age: 23
How long have you been playing the game (hours)?: GW: 2674.5 hours GW2: 924 hours.
Play-style(s): PVE mainly. Light PVP for dailies. I don't do much WVW, but I enjoy it when I have a group to play with.
PvP Experience: Moderate. "Avenger"
Professions played in PvP: Ranger
PvE Experience: I was tickled pink to get World Completion on the first Halloween after launch. It'll always be a warm memory. Just bought Heart of Thorns, so I'm eager to explore the new content.
Professions played in PvE: Ranger, Engineer, Warrior and Thief are at 80. Others are chillin' at low-mid range levels.
WvW Experience: Minimal
Professions played in WvW: Ranger, Warrior, Elementalist
What is your home server?: Ehmry Bay
Previous guild(s): I haven't really had a guild in this franchise since the GW1 days. Work, school, life and such.
Reason for leaving previous guild: The Guilds I've been a part of petered out. Some were small and tightly knit. They faded when people moved on with their lives. The last guild I was apart of in GW1 fractured when GW2 launched. In ESO, the guilds I've been a part of have all petered out as well.
Why do you want to join [ZoS]?: I've been playing since Prophecies. I remember the first time I saw you guys, was in the official guide for Factions. A guide that I still have today. ZoS has always been a source of awe and inspiration for me. Now even more so. It's exceptional that this guild is STILL around and kicking. If accepted, I'll have to exercise extreme restraint not to put it on my resume. Although I will undoubtedly fan girl with a couple of friends from the GW1 days.
Have you fully read the application post?: Yes, sir and/or ma'am.
Do you have TeamSpeak 3 and a working microphone?: I do.
Have you read and do you agree with our rules?: Absolutely.
A little about yourself: I'm a quiet and patient sort; I'm told I rock the young suburban dad look. I usually refrain from talking unless I have something important or valuable to contribute. Having a stutter teaches one the value of listening. I'm an Oregonian Native, living in Portland. Spent five years in Texas as a teenager. I've lived in two States, two Countries and two Continents. I've sailed the Baltic, and drank in the ports. My Mother's a Psychologist, Father's a Biologist. I was planning on getting a degree in Pharmaceutical R&D, specialising in Entheogens, but that job market is far from bountiful. I love the woods, the mountains and the little rivers. I love the cold and the snow. I was told to figure out what my passion is, and figure out a way to get paid for it. Being in nature is where I feel most at home. So, I'm saving up to move to Norway, where I intend on attending University for a degree in Forestry, and perhaps in Biology as well. For now I work in a shipping company, and I quite enjoy it.
Sometimes I take a break from playing GW for awhile. But I always end up coming back. In the event that I take a break, I'll give proper and prior notice.
