Account Name: Omegon.7968
In-game Name/level: Waver Shades, level 80
Time Zone and time usually on: Pacific Standard Time (PST) I am usually on a little in the afternoon (12-2ish) and then later in the evening (8-11ish)
Play-Style: I do pvp and wvw, and do a few dungeons here and there.
Pvp experience: rank 42, have reached up to rank 630 or so on the leaderboards
PVE experience: all dungeons paths excepting one or two in Arah. I'm not one to do the "hardcore" pve stuff (like wurm), but I do a lot of the general stuff, such as world bosses, lower level fractals, and dungeons. I have 2 level 80 toons (guardian and warrior), with 100% map completion on guardian.
PVE professions: mainly guardian, warrior occasionally
Professions played in pvp: guardian, Mesmer, warrior
Crafts: Weaponsmith (500), Armorsmith (500)
Previous Guilds: Guides of the Mists (GoM), Diablos Revenge (DRV)
Reasons for leaving previous guilds: Found some members present in the guild to be overly negative, guild leaders were very rude, did not enjoy my time in the guilds
Home server: Northern Shiverpeaks (NSP)
Reason for joining: When I left my last guild (DRV) I decided that I could just go "solo" and have fun just keeping in touch with people on my friends list, as I was fed up with guild drama. About two weeks in I began to lose interest in playing, as the only motivating factors were pvp rank, making gold, and leveling alts. After I actually quit playing for about a week, I came back, fresh and ready to play again. The same thing happened, I went solo and began to lose interest. Soon enough, I realized that I actually missed being in a guild. I missed seeing guildies in wvw, missed the random evening dungeon runs, and even the random "everyone gather in DR for funzies" moments. ZoS struck me as a good option for a guild to join for a few reasons. First, ZoS has a rather large presence in wvw. Secondly, ZoS has always left an impression on me as consisting of fair and kind players, as I have seen no rude or raging players from ZoS. Thirdly, ZoS is *active*. I have been in too many guilds that even with nearly 500 members, there will still only be 10 or so online, and even then, nobody will talk. I am very much looking for an active community I can call home and fellow guildies that I hope I can call friends.
Time playing the game: 1,276 hours 9 minutes (and counting)
TS3 and mic: Yes I do and yes I do
I have read and readily agree with the rules
About myself: My name is Avery and I am 18 years old. I am currently working on an AA before I transfer, where I hope to work towards a degree in Data Analytics. Before GW2 I played World of Warcraft for a little over a year, and runescape a little before that. Gw2 is still the best I have played to date. Other games I enjoy playing include: Dota2, League of Legends, the Borderlands series, Skyrim, and Age of Mythology. I played baseball for a little over 12 years, ending my time with the sport in my senior year of high school. Outside of GW2 and baseball, my interests include Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer 40k, reading (I read a TON), and playing video games with friends. I really enjoy puzzles, riddles, and anything of a brainteaser sort. When it comes to GW2, I am fairly analytical, as I do like to theorycraft, often resulting in me thinking about the game more than I ought to. I don't get angry very easily, as when it comes to failing over and over again I simply view it as a learning experience where I try to just get better next time. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you all better!
