Account name (with #'s): Smarty.6172
In-game name and level: Arik Moonfrost (80), Mister Smartypants (80), a few others I don't play much (In Use (80), Jarryk (80), Sophia Maleth (80), Saiffa (43)).
Age: 43.
Timezone and times usually on: UK, 9-11pm, plus other times at random.
Play-style (PvP, PvE, WvW Etc.): Mainly PvE so far. R9 WvW so still v new to that but the few times I've played it's been a lot of fun.
PvP Experience (rank, accomplishments, etc.): 0.
Professions played in PvP: Never played - not likely to either, not my cup of tea; I'm happy with PvE and WvW.
PvE Experience (accomplishments, dungeons, etc.): Completed storyline on Arik, done some dungeons storyline mode on Arik, 84% world completion on Arik. Slowly doing the same for Smarty. I seem to have spent most of my time so far on levelling characters (mapping, champ train, dailies) and playing through the living story, so I don't feel like I know much about game mechanics yet, but as I'm wanting to branch out into more WvW and dungeons that hopefully shouldn't be the case for much longer. My problem, as always, is being an altaholic. I still haven't really decided which my main character is!
Professions played in PvE: Ranger (primarily); mesmer (secondary); some necro, ele, and guardian; currently levelling a warrior. Still not tried engi or thief.
Crafts and their levels: All crafts at 400.
Previous guilds: UNO, DRV.
Reason for leaving previous guild: UNO merged with DRV as we were quite small and inactive, and our guild leader Xani had played with DRV a lot in WvW. I've not really played much with DRV since joining as I'm in the UK and they mainly do WvW at US times, whereas I have a fair amount of PvE I want to do as well.
What is your home server?: NSP.
Why you want to join [ZoS]?: UNO was allied with ZoS in GW1, I keep seeing ZoS wherever I go and they always seem like good and helpful players, and I have a friend from DRV who joined ZoS. That's on top of ZoS being a large active guild which covers both aspects of the game that I'm interested in. It'd be v nice to have guildies instead of strangers to do dungeons with as well as go WvWing with.
How long have you been playing the game (hours)?: 900 hours over 700 days. (I had a period where I didn't play much at all, as it just wasn't as interesting to me as GW1 had been and I was trying to spend time away from the PC; I've been playing quite regularly since around Christmas time.)
Do you have TeamSpeak 3 and a working microphone?: Yes and yes.
Have you read and do you agree with our rules?: Yes and yes.
A little about yourself: I'm a single mum, working part time, trying to fit everything I want to do into not enough time to do it. I loved GW1 - too much, really; looking back, I spent far too much time playing it (multiple GWAMMS and thousands of hours of playtime) - and am enjoying GW2 but am managing to keep my playtime under control this time. The downside to that is that I've not done as many things in this game as I'd like to have, nor made as many friends, nor developed as deep an understanding of it as I could. I'm hoping that being a relative newbie won't get in the way of my finding a proper home in game and being able to get on with achieving some of the things I'd like to, and that I can learn enough to be a useful party member and help out when other people want to get stuff done.
