Good day everyone!

Zealots of Shiverpeak [ZoS] is commemorating our 10-year anniversary as a guild and the 9th anniversary of the Guild Wars universe. In celebration, [ZoS] will be hosting a day of events, prizes and giveaways! Various events organized by [ZoS] will run throughout the day with prizes awarded to the winners, and drawings will occur every hour for unique skins, materials, and even precursors. Tickets for the drawings will be sold for 1 gold each on the day of the event (limit 100). It all begins today, Saturday, April 26th at 11am server time. Below you'll find more information about [ZoS], the schedule of events, and the list of available prizes - more information will be given as the day progresses via the [ZoS] TeamSpeak. We look forward to seeing you at the festivities!

Description: We will start the day's events off with two hours of WvW. Follow the commanders of [ZoS] around in both the borderlands and Edge of the Mists! Due to server restrictions, this event will only be for Northern Shiverpeaks players and similarly colored servers in Edge of the Mists.

Description: Follow the PvE Commander through some world bosses for some nice loot, daily rares and dragonite ore! We will be starting this event off at Karka Queen then move to Svanir Shaman, The Shatterer, and the Fire Elemental. We will also do the Font of Rhand, Ogre Chieftain, and Fire Shaman time permitting.

Description: An adventure, unlike no other! Bringing you action, drama, and suspense, the Truly Trivial Treasure Trek of Tremendous Trickery is ready to please. Make your way around Tyria, collecting clues, solving riddles, and having fun!

Event Name: [ZoS] Completion Zerg of Timberline Falls
Event Run By: Guardiann Godd
Description: Come complete Timberline Falls with the [ZoS] Completion Zerg! We have been doing zergs twice a week for the past year! This zerg marks the 100th zerg run by Guardiann Godd. During the zerg we will go to every POI, waypoint, vista, skill point and heart in the zone but heart completion will be left for you to do on your own. As we pass each of the POIs and waypoints make sure you get credit for them. When we do vistas, we almost always have at least one portal for the zerg. At skill points, if you don't get credit, start it again while we are all there. Events will vary depending on scaling but we will try to do events that will give heart credit. We will skip most nodes but will definitely stop for rich nodes and farms. The starting waypoint for the zerg is [&BFICAAA=].

Event Name: Nestor's Jumbo Jovial Jumping Juncture for Justified Jubilations
Event Run By: Nestor Hrin
Description: Join [ZoS]'s largest jumping puzzle race to date! Traverse seven of Tyria's best jumping puzzles and complete each puzzle to be guided to the next in the sequence - anyone to finish all seven within the time limit will receive prizes, with special prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd place! Those who wish to participate but not compete will be informed of the next puzzle of interest every five minutes. Be sure to unlock waypoints all around Tyria and prepare for some heavy jumping, because this event will push racers to their limits!

This was a ZoSome day! I got to meet and play with a few people I have never played with, I discovered a weakness for jumping puzzles (read - I am WEAK, lol), recognized some awesome musical talents, and I LOVE GOLEM RUSHES! There were many genuine laugh out loud moments this fine day.

Thanks to all the great leadership for a fantastic birthday celebration. You guys and gals ROCK!

Event Name: Thors Hammer
Event Run By: Ancalagon Ira, Smitry, Mercenary Bodyguard, and Cyan Dar
The event began in Isle of Janthir Borderlands with numerous guildies and non-guildies building golems. All together 52 Omega Golems were built, hitting a siege cap. At the start of the event the borderlands had a 60-person queue. The first keep we pushed on was Bay, we had very little resistance and the walls melted for a very easy cap. We then moved on to Garrison where there was already a fight going on as Yak's Bend had owned the keep and was defending it against Isle of Janthir, we entered through the southwest gate and moved onto center inner gate. We encountered a large resistance armed with arrow carts but it was not enough to hold back 52 Omega Golems. The center inner gate and wall both dropped very fast allowing Ira's ground force to push in and clear the sige while the golems marched into the Lord's room. The cap was successful but we weren't stopping there, we moved over to Woodhaven. There was no resistance from IoJ so we decided to have a little fun and open up as many walls as we could before the ground force captured the tower, we were a little slow but we were able to destroy one gate and two walls. Now began the time to take the east side of the map, we started at Dawn's Eyrie and again we encountered little resistance. The real fight began at Hill's that at the time was under Yak's Bend's control, we had fought them earlier during the Garrison attack so they knew we would be coming soon. The had cannons, oil, and several arrow carts built, and 30+ people ready to defend. The golems began the attack on the north gate first taking out the cannons and any siege they could reach, once the main defence was cleared, the gate and outer wall were both destroyed. Ira leading the ground force moved in for the inner cannons on center gate with Smitry leading the golems not far behind. The cannons dealt a great damage to the golems and took out a large number of them but still we prevailed. Without their defensive siege, they could not stop us. We destroyed several of the inner walls and began our push across the bridge. They were heavily sieged in the lord's room but under Smitry and Ira's command we were able to push in and clear out their siege allowing us to capture Hill's.

Event Name: World Boss Run
Event Run By: Guardiann Godd
The world boss run began with Karka Queen started with a Guild World Event upgrade by ZoS. Afterwards we pushed our way into the Font of Rhand in Dissa Plateau. We then moved over to the Shatterer dragon in Blazeridge Steppes. And finally the run came to an end with the Fire Elemental in Metrica Province.

Event Name: The Truly Trivial Treasure Trek of Tremendous Trickery

An adventure, unlike no other! Bringing you action, drama, and suspense, the Truly Trivial Treasure Trek of Tremendous Trickery is ready to please. Make your way around Tyria, collecting clues, solving riddles, and having fun! The adventure began in Brisban Wildlands collecting junk items from bandits and inquest. Staying in Brisban, teams then went to the White Mantle to discover what anchors them. And finally, stopping by the swamp to investigate the mushrooms and what the rumors were behind them. Teams then moved over to Harathi Hinterlands to begin exploring the tomb of Tenad the Faithful. Then down by a lake, was a small cave with plants growing inside, made possible by a hole in the wall in which sunlight could shine through. And finally, stopped by the town of chickens to learn of the bandits hanging out by the docks, stealing from ships, and causing problems for the ships. In the end, we visited Fireheart Rise to collect Dolyak Meat and Barracuda Meat for the Kodan that had to flee their homes because of the ice dragon. The race came to an end with a king without a kingdom, Jonno, the king of this kingdom who became the leader simply because he found it today. No teams reached the final clue but we did have 3 that came very close, in the order in which they finished, we had Team Bravo, Team Juliet, and Team Romeo. Team Bravo in first place with team leader Kenshin. Frosty leading Team Juliet in second place. And in third place came Team Romeo led by Ace.

Event Name: [ZoS] Completion Zerg of Timberline Falls
Event Run By: Guardiann Godd
The ZoS Completion Zerg of Timberline Falls was the 100th zerg to be run by Guardiann Godd! Additionally, this was the 4th time completing the world map together as a completion zerg. During the run we encountered very few events in our way, allowing for the run to be very fast, keeping the time just under 50 minutes. Unfortunately, there were no good cliffs along the way to jump off of, so it only made sense to end the zerg with a 40 man jump to the death.

Event Name: Nestor's Jumbo Jovial Jumping Juncture for Justified Jubilations
Event Run By: Nestor Hrin
One of the most difficult jumping puzzle races Tyria had ever seen, the race consisted of seven jumping puzzles with a time limit of 5 minutes at each puzzle. Finishing a puzzle before the time ran out granted access to the next puzzle in the sequence, and after the time limit the next location was given to non-competitors so that they may follow along for fun. The race began in the caves of Lions Arch with Urmaug's Secret, followed in turn by Demongrub Pits, The Collapsed Observatory, The Branded Mine, Vizier's Tower, and Antre of Adjournment. The final puzzle for competitors to overcome was the infamous Skipping Stones of Southsun Cove. The first person to complete the circuit was Amelia Arven with a time of just under 13 minutes, followed closely by Juliana in second place and Evilbanana in third. An honorable mention goes out to players who were able to complete all seven jumping puzzles in the time allowed, in order of their arrival to the finish line: The Great Mesmer, Ava Krasnyj, Valiant Killeen, Learin, Lulu Laroux, Seig Cal Theta, and Sulin.

Event Name: [ZoS] Concert

Thanks for letting me run the Musical Hour! I was really fortunate to have my friend Kaae of Twitguild/ArenaNet help me judge the competition and she had a great time participating as well. The winner of the ZoS Idol musical instrument competition was Serunn for his rendition of "Davy Jones"! 2nd place went Majyyks of Os Guild for her trumpet version of the Rocky theme and 3rd went to Darict for his Zelda flute cover. Honorable mention went to Lil Miz Edgy of PB Guild for her 6 year old's composition, which was really excellent. Other participants in the competition were Evilbannana of Os, Harpper, Guardiann Godd, and Yenna Charrblade of MeSi.

Event Name: Guild Missions
Event Run By: Guardiann Godd
The guild missions began with our standard 3 party split led by Guardiann Godd, Nestor Hrin, and Pointe. Before starting our bounty, we decided to crash GT's form up with ZoS, ending in a deathly jump killing over 50% of us, drink! The bounties were all successfully found and killed with little difficulty. We then started our rush, and after a bit of ferrying, we managed to reach a hard cap for the first time with a guild mission. To counter this, the first people to finish the rush, were politely asked to get off the map to make room. For the challenge, we defended Skrittsburg from the invaders with zero difficulty, the challenge was not prepared to scale for a 80 man zerg. Finally we ended with everyone's favorite puzzle, Proxemics Lab, in Brisban Wildlands.
