Would anyone mind if i removed:

View posts since last visit
View your posts
View unanswered posts

And instead added:

Upcoming Events
Event 1
Event 2

And have the events link to the section in the forums with the details.
1 day poll.

I am not that concerned about "view your posts" or "view unanswered posts" but the "view posts since last visit" is a quick way for me to see what has been going on since the last time I was on the forum without having to go through all the posts.

How about just deleting the first two and putting the events thing up higher?

I was thinking about changing the bg image there too. any ideas?

The first one "View posts since last visit" is the one i'd like to keep.

As long as we get to keep the highlighting in the forum for the "posts since last visit" (or equivalently, the view option at the top, since it's the only feature of the three I use), I'm fine with getting rid of the others.

Yea Empty, toss the other two, the "View posts since last visit" is gold. The events one looks spiff.

If you remove view posts since last visit ill quit and never use the forums again.

1 and 2 are empty. 3 is last visited and time. 4 is the posts stuff.
Guess as soon as I figure out which tpl file places this there on the index, I'll add it to number 2.

So we can change the piture above the View last post. Also I wouldnt mind you getting rid of the silly icons and chaning them aka View your posts

No I would quit. We have so few that use the forum in the first place, there would be even less reason to use it. Meaning the forum would eventually slow down and have no one posting on it because we have 3000000 sub forums. We have enough problems getting people to join the forums, if you break it, there would be even less point.
